Al via domani il Tour of Norway: Alexander Kristoff fa gli onori di casa, al via anche 4 italiani
Inizia domani, con una prima tappa di 147 km con partenza e arrivo a Larvik, il Tour of Norway. Il vincitore della scorsa edizione Edvald Boasson Hagen non difenderà il suo titolo perché impegnato col Giro d'Italia. Il dorsale numero 1 andrà a Alexander Kristoff (che quest'anno ha già all'attivo la Milano-Sanremo e il GP di Francoforte), col 15 partirà Bauke Mollema (che ha chiuso al quarto posto qui l'anno scorso), col 16 Sep Vanmarcke, col 73 Tom Van Asbroeck e con l'81 Gerald Ciolek. In mezzo a tanta Norvegia (sono sette le squadre di casa al via), sono quattro gli italiani in gara: col dorsale 22 Daniele Bennati, col 26 Matteo Tosatto, col 92 Alessandro Bazzana e col 94 Davide Frattini.

Kristoff profeta in patria: sua la prima tappa del Tour of Norway, battuti Holst Enger e Van Asbroeck
Nella prima tappa del Tour of Norway la vittoria va all'idolo di casa Alexander Kristoff. Il velocista della Katusha apre festeggiando la cinque giorni norge, ripetendo quanto fatto l'anno scorso in cui si aggiudicò tre tappe. Oggi nella Larvik-Larvik di 148 km il vincitore della Milano-Sanremo 2014 ha preceduto in volata il promettentissimo connazionale Sondre Holst Enger (classe '93 e già promesso sposo dell'IAM) della Sparebanken Sør e il belga Tom Van Asbroeck della Topsport Vlaanderen. Completano la top 10 Lars Petter Nordhaug, Zico Waeytens, Barlomiej Matysiak, Gerald Ciolek, Thomas Sprengers, Maciej Paterski e Jo Kogstad Ringheim. Per Kristoff si tratta del quarto successo stagionale, il secondo di fila dopo il Gp di Francoforte del 1 maggio scorso.
La tappa è stata caratterizzata da una fuga di sette elementi: i norvegesi Adrian Gjolberg (FixIT.no), Krister Hagen (Oster Hus) e Øystein Stake Laengen (Motiv3), il belga Eliot Lietaer (Topsport), 'italiano Davide Frattini (UnitedHealthcare), lo spagnolo Rubén Fernández (Caja Rural) e il polacco Adrian Kurek (CCC Polsat). Per loro un vantaggio massimo di 4'25" dopo circa 45 km di gara, momento da cui Belkin e Katusha hanno preso in mano la situazione, mantenendo costante il ritardo del gruppo sino al progressivo recupero, con il ricongiungimento avvenuto quando mancavano 6 km all'arrivo.
Domani la Drøbak-Sarpsborg di 195 km precede un arrivo in leggera salita, ovviamente relativa vista la latitudine del percorso di gara. [© cicloweb.it]

Acuto di Sep Vanmarcke in Norvegia: battuti Larsson e Smukulis, De Maar sempre leader
I 181 km della Årnes-Budor la salita finale ha ristretto il discorso per la vittoria a quattro uomini: lo svedese Gustav Erik Larsson della IAM Cycling, il lettone Gatis Smukulis della Katusha e il duo della Belkin formato dall'olandese Stef Clement e dal belga Sep Vanmarcke. Il successo è andato proprio a Vanmarcke, che ha distanziato di 1" Larsson, di 4" Smukulis e di 6" Clement, preziosissimo nel favorire il successo del proprio leader. Il gruppo, giunto a 12", è stato regolato dal belga Jérôme Baugnies della Wanty.
La tappa ha visto una fuga a quattro partita sin dalle prime pedalate: protagonisti i norvegesi Amund Grøndahl (Sparebanken Sør) e Christer Jensen (Motiv3), lo svedese Marcus Faglum-Karlsson (Ringeriks) e il belga Tom Van Asbroeck (Topsport Vlaanderen), per loro vantaggio massimo di 3'20" a 52 km dall'arrivo. Nella penultima salita si stacca Van Asbroeck e i tre reduci della prima ora vengono raggiunti, in prossimità dell'inizio dell'ascesa decisiva, da Clement, Smukulis, Vanmarcke e dal polacco Jaroslaw Maycz (CCC Polsat). Mentre i tre scandinavi perdevano contatto, dal gruppo uscivano Larsson e il bielorusso Branislau Samoilau, altro uomo della CCC Polsat. In prossimità dell'ultimo km i due uomini della formazione Professional polacca non riuscivano più a tenere il ritmo dettato da Clement, venendo successivamente ripresi dal gruppo.
L'olandese di licenza ma nativo della caraibica Curaçao Marc De Maar resta leader: il capitano della Unitedhealthcare conserva il vantaggio di 3" sul più immediato inseguitore, il polacco Maciej Paterski della CCC Polsat; risale Larsson, ora 3° a soli 6" dalla vetta. Domani la Brumunddal-Lillehammer misura 195 km e presenta un finale all'insù che potrebbe tagliar fuori i velocisti puri dalla vittoria di tappa. [© cicloweb.it]

Belkin vincente nella 4a tappa del Giro di Norvegia con Bauke Mollema. Marc De Maar leader a una giornata dal termine
È di Bauke Mollema la quarta tappa del Tour of Norway. Nei 195 km che separavano Brumunddal da Lillehammer l'olandese della Belkin ha preceduto di 3" Jesper Hansen e di 6" un gruppetto regolato da Lars Petter Nordhaug. La generale, ad una frazione dal termine, vede in testa il corridore delle Antille Olandesi Marc De Maar, che ha 3" su Maciej Paterski e 6" sul vincitore odierno Bauke Mollema, che passa dal 7° posto al gradino più basso del podio. Vittoria di Alexander Kristoff nell'ultima tappa del Tour of Norway. Da Gjøvik a Hønefoss il vincitore della Sanremo ha regolato Jean-Pierre Drucker e Gerald Ciolek, con Maciej Paterski quarto.
