Nocentini, nuova avventura nello Sporting Tavira
La moglie Manola conferma la notizia su twitter
Rinaldo Nocentini correrà il prossimo anno in Portogallo: il trentottenne aretino, che nelle ultime stagioni ha corso nella AG2r, vestirà la maglia della Sporting-Tavira.
La formazione Continental è stata presentata oggi alla presenza dei presidenti dello Sporting Club de Fútbol, Bruno de Carvalho, della Camera Municipal di Tavira, Jorge Botelho, e del Club de Ciclismo de Tavira, Marcelino Teixeira: le tre società hanno firmato un accordo di collaborazione fino al 2019 e si tratta di un ritorno in gruppo per la società calcistica dello Sporting Lisbona, una delle più amate del Portogallo, assente dal ciclismo ormai da quasi trent’anni.
La formazione sarà guidata da Vidal Fitas e allineerà 12 corridori, otto dei quali sono già noti: i confermati sono David Livramento e Valter Pereira poi arrivano Luís Fernandes (W52), Hugo Sabido (Louletano), Júlio Gonçalves (Anicolor) e gli spagnoli Jesús Ezquerra (Activejet), Mario González (Activejet) e Óscar Gonzalez (ex-Efapel).
In arrivo anche un altro spagnolo, vale a dire David de la Fuente. E in serata si chiarisce anche la posizione di Rinaldo Nocentini (AG2R La Mondiale): la moglie del corridore, Manola, ha infatti twittato un articolo dedicato a Rinaldo con il commento: «Non si può più nascondere. Sarai presentato allo stadio di Lisbona davanti a 50.000 persone. Nuova grande esperienza».
L'obiettivo del team sarà in particolare quello di meritarsi l'invito alle corse portoghesi ed in particolare alla Grandissima, vale a dire alla Volta a Portugal.

Non so chi glielo lo faccia fare al Noce una scelta di vita di questo genere (presumo al minimo dello stipendio o quasi) per correre corse di secondo/terzo piano come ormai sono tutte quelle del Portogallo.

Bisognerebbe conoscere qualche dettaglio in più della trattativa e delle prospettive che ha la squadra: bene o male comunque il suo stipendio se lo porterà a casa, visto che non avrebbe senso correre per un tozzo di pane a quasi quarant'anni. Ovviamente nulla a che vedere con quel che prendeva in Ag2r, però......
Vediamo se otterranno anche qualche invito in Italia
