RE: Amgen Tour of California - SarriTheBest - 17-05-2012 California, anche a Clovis il copione non cambia: 1° Sagan, 2° Haussler Anche nella quarta tappa di questo Giro di California il corridore più forte è stato Peter Sagan: sul traguardo di Clovis lo slovacco della Liquigas ha di nuovo battuto tutti in volata grazie ad una progressione semplicemente irresistibile; rispetto alle tre precedenti frazioni, quindi, non è cambiato il nome del vincitore, non è cambiato neanche quello del secondo classificato visto per l'ennesima volta l'australiano Heinrich Haussler è stato il primo dei battuti, o forse il primo dei comuni mortali. Tra l'altro oggi non si può dire che la Garmin non abbia provato a rendere dura la vita a Sagan, soprattutto con un bell'attacco di David Zabriskie a circa 5 km dall'arrivo ma l'americano è stato ripreso poco prima del triangolo rosso degli ultimi 1000 metri: Haussler poi era riuscito a prendere la ruota di Sagan ma quando lo slovacco è partito Heinrich non ha potuto far altro che rimanergli in scia. Dopo la caduta del primo giorno oggi s'è rivisto Michael Matthews che ha chiuso sul terzo gradino del podio subito davanti a Tom Boonen.
