“Of course, I've waited for long in the position of a potential winner so I'm a little bit disappointed to not keep the lead at the very end. But it's a bit of a surprise to make the top three with Chris Froome and Alberto Contador and it's a nice surprise. I felt good but I was in the unknown as this is my come-back race after a break. For now, I'm up there with the best riders on GC. I'll try to stay with them as long as I can. But I also have to be realistic. Those guys are here to gear up for winning the Tour de France. We'll see how it goes but my main goal of the year is later on with the Vuelta a Espana.”
