Oggi non la volevano prendere, ma prenderla sul Lussari direi che è abbastanza eccessivo 

Anche perché Roglic ha già un trauma per un Tour perso in una cronoscalata quindi penso che vorrà guadagnare almeno un minuto prima del Lussari.

Io cancellerei dal calendario la Roubaix mi sembra piuttosto pericoloso lanciarsi a 50km/h su pietre talvolta umidicce

So let's set this straight.
The queen stage with the Cima Coppi was first simplified, removing the Gran San Bernardo (Cima Coppi itself!), and then brutally CUT by almost 65% on the request of the riders, who have an extremely powerful union, because of "extreme conditions" that were NOT there at all except for some intermittant rain. Okay we say, at least we're gonna see some real action straight from the start, we thought. Well we thought wrong, because the GC guys, despite having their entire team at their disposal, NEVER even considered attacking except for a very timid try by Caruso (who had the fewest teammates) in the very end, and ended up all together as if they had previously agreed not to tire each other, in an ascent that was only a little less embarrassing than the one of the Gran Sasso of stage 7.
Cherry on top, the stage winner was the one rider in the breakaway who never did any work, pretending to be too tired to pull and dropping back only to backstab those who pulled him up the ascent in the last km (or I should say the ONE who did, as Cepeda too refused to do almost any work with Pinot). Smart, and obviously legal, but pretty shameful tbh.
And let's not even get into the fact that some riders like Küng are pulling out "to prepare other events". Showing a dysmal lack of respect for the race and his fellow riders. I remember when Cipollini tried something like this at the Tour they banned him from participating in the subsequent years.
Overall a pretty sad day for the Giro. I am sorry, I know they are producing day after day a super human effort the kinds of which is not even understandable by the average Joe, including me. But, recognising I am nothing more than an armchair specialist, they are professionals and fundamentally they are paid because people are interested in the spectacle they produce, and because of the legendary feats their predecessors set in stone. And today - and not only today sadly - they utterly failed at their job.
Congratulations to Pinot for the sincere but a bit too naive effort. Hope he'll take the blue jersey to Rome, he deserves it.
