La pioggia ed un percorso indurito hanno reso la corsa più vivace del solito. Ai -70 se ne sono andati in 15 tra cui anche Matthews e Stybar poi ai -20 i primi tre sono andati via da soli. Matthews quarto a 1'13", idem Stybar sesto. Gruppo poco dietro regolato da Jacobsen su Kristoff.
