<b>Preview of Internationale Thüringen Rundfahrt der Frauen 17 – 23 July:</b>

Stage 1 - Gotha 66.6km
First stage is a relatively flat course with cobbles in the start and finish and a technical approach to the finish.

Stage 2 – Erfurt 103.3km
The second stage starts in the capital of Thuringen and is a stage with both hilly and flat sections starting with a big loop. After crossing the finish once it continues on a small loop including the Arnstädter Hohle climb averaging 9% for 900m. The climb could splinter the rest of the peloton, but being 12km from the finish, it could come together for a sprint to the finish on the straight wide road.

Stage 3a – Schmölln 19km ITT
The third day holds two stages, one timetrial in the morning and a roadrace in the afternoon. The ITT is partly hilly and technical with a fast, and what the organizers describe as difficult, downhill finish for the last km.

Stage 3b – Meerane 78km
Four times a loop of 19.5km including the Steile Wand climb and a finish on a steep climb, 250m sloped up to 18%.

Stage 4 – Zeulenroda-Triebes 116.1km
First three laps of a loop including the Dörtendorfer Berg climb each lap continuing to a longer lap without the climb and a flat finish.

Stage 5 – Gera 118.5km
A rather flat stage compared to the other stages with a relatively flat, non-technical finish.

Stage 6 – Schleiz 129.2km
A though stage that could be decisive for the GC. The climbs will most likely split the whole peloton into smaller groups already early in the stage. One big loop followed by a smaller loop of 14.6km before the finish.

Stage 7 – Greiz 98.9km
Another though stage that could give GC contenders a new opportunity to change the finishing result. The stage is hilly and very technical with a fast downhill to the finish including multiple switch and turns.
